A new series that shares screenshots of interactions with scammers!

If you have to deal with them, you might as well have some fun with it right?

Many know the tell-tale signs of a #scammer. Many also know the tell-tale signs of someone #catfishing you. For example, when #KeanuReeves follows me on #TikTok and, after I follow him back, he sends a message.

Now, sites/apps like TikTok allow you to see what country you are getting the most views from – mine says: United States, Nigeria, Other.

Since I used Keanu Reeves above, his will be the first scammer share! I created a video read of our conversation, which I posted below as well.

Keanu Reeves (KR): Hello dear

Me: OHMYGAWDDDDD!!! Is it really you? why would you message me? no f’ing way!!! I’m so in love with you!!!

KR: It’s me Keanu Reeves – How are you doing?

Me: oh my oh my much better now, you have graced my inbox with heaven you don’t know how much this means to me

Me: can I get a current picture of you please please please

KR: I can’t send pic on TikTok my dear it isn’t working – Where are you from?

Me: sorry, I didn’t ask about you.. how are you doing? – San Diego, CA – I’m near Los Angeles if you’d ever like to meet for dinner and a movie

KR: I am fine it’s late here in Canada so I will be going back to bed soon

KR: Okay are you on google chat or telegram so we can talk Better and also talk on video calls

Me: Canada? why Canada? what part of Canada are you in?

KR: Ohio

Me: you are in Ohio Canada? I heard it’s beautiful there. total fan girl of you – wanna fly me there for dinner and a movie?

KR: That where I live but I do travel a lot and I have mostly been in Portugal because that’s where most of my movie scenes are acted

KR: No problem about that – Are you on google chat or telegram?

Me: no I don’t use either of those – no need really – what movie scenes have you been working on lately? anything spicy

KR: Ohio represents the best of what our country has to offer: an amazing mix of affordability, quality of life, diverse industry, diverse communities, natural beauty, and a dynamic hub for innovation, culture, sports, education, and economic growth – John wick 4

Me: any sexy scenes in that movie? when you fly me to you, so you want to watch one of your movies? also what do you like for dinner?

I haven’t heard from him after this. In fact, he hasn’t even seen my message to him. I truly hope I haven’t scared him away because that would be heartbreaking to lose him already!

Mr. Keanu Reeves! I am still waiting on dinner and a movie sir! I can’t eat seafood fyi – but a nice steak/chicken/salad bar/pizza dinner and a movie at a place you pick, I’m all in. Remember though, you will need to fly me to you – I don’t have the funds for things like that. 🙂

How To Change From People Pleaser To Self-Love

If you have an answer on How To Change From a People Pleaser To Self-Love, please tell me. I can only provide you with the journey I’ve taken thus far to grow in self-love.

The person I thought people needed from me was hurting me: I was, and still am, a people pleaser.

According to Medical News Today “a person feels a strong urge to please others, even at their own expense. They may feel that their wants and needs do not matter or alter their personality around others.”

Being a people pleaser is why I don’t know yet. Because I’ve been so focused on helping others, whether it be healing, growing, learning, loving, seeing the best in themselves, I have not focused on helping myself obtain the same things.

I accepted and gave the best and worst behavior. Saying “yes, I can provide you with this or help you with that” provided a way to keep people in my life and gave me the impression that people would remain there for the long-term. Once I stopped saying yes, their need of me began to lessen. My constant need to help backfired in momentous ways.

I’m 44 and I just experienced another unsuccessful marriage. I’ve accepted my role in the demise of each and am disheartened by their failure, but I myself am not a failure in either.

“I’m broken,” I said to a therapist.

“You are not broken, you are under construction,” she replied.

From Home to Homeless to Home to Homeless

Home to Homeless and again Home to Homeless

You read that correctly. Up until 40 years old I lived in a home. Modern low middle class suburbia.

When tragedy struck, my mom dying, I turned to drugs to numb my pain. I stopped for a moment to deal with mental health issues and life happened. My husband left me, daughter moved with him, lost the home, moved to an RV, lost the RV, moved to a car, lost the car, ended up being street bound.

I restarted the drug use after moving into the RV; I figured ‘what the heck, might as well.’

I lived either in a tent or slept on city sidewalks until May 2022.

Upon getting clean, I was able to get a vehicle and moved off street into a vehicle.

Then after more tragedy struck, I moved out of state and bought a tiny home.

Tragedy once again struck and I had to run from my home and now back where I started my sobriety time, I am again homeless.

There is so much more life in between these events and even more success found in them.

I will elaborate more in time.
